CHINESE TRADITIONAL MEDICINE IS ANOTHER EFFECTIVE DISEASE TREATMENT FOR THAIS

Deputy Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul (อนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล) has indicated that Chinese traditional medicine is another safe and effective way of curing illness in Thai people.

The Deputy Public Health Minister stated that Chinese traditional medicine is now playing an increasingly important role in the Thai medical field. It has become another effective way of curing illness in Thai patients, particularly acupuncture and massage. Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Health in conjunction with the Chinese Medicine Association of Thailand is currently promoting career practitioners in this area. The ministry is also attempting to improve knowledge and service standards in the Chinese traditional medicine in Thailand.

He reiterated that this medical treatment is another safe and effective way for Thai people. However, it would be highly effective if the treatment was made in conjunction with modern medical science.
