The Virtual Classes
The TCM class is structured around
a course outline with the Professor delivering the
lecture in the virtual classroom and students posting
messages with questions and then subsequently receiving
answers from the Professor.
Class manuals, in .pdf format,
can be purchased in the Campus Store.
The .pdf format can be read with Acrobat Reader (available
for free) and easily printed whatever operative system is used
by the student.
As a result you don't have to
be in the classroom at a specific time of day or even
on any particular day. Instead, you can simply log
in when you have the time, read the class messages,
and post any of your own. If you don't have time to
read or respond to a particular message this time,
it'll still be there in the classroom the next time
you log in. If you need to spend a few extra days on
a particular assignment, or if you can't log in on
a certain day, you don't have to worry about falling
behind all the lectures and all the exchanges between
the Professor and students will still be there when
you get to them.

Limitations
TCM education is incomplete without
clinical and practical teaching, which of course cannot
be provided on-line. Being conscious of this shortcoming,
we strongly advise our students to complete their education
with practical classes and clinical internship. Given
this condition, Jade Campus disclaims any responsibility
for any malpractice……
jadecampus will have its staff
available on demand for organized short practical seminars.
Besides, we recommend internship
in Chinese hospitals.
As every country has a different
legislation concerning the legal practice of TCM and
our students belong to the international community,
therefore we cannot issue any document providing legal
permission to practice TCM.
Complementarity
Even though they have a different
approach, both Western and Chinese medicine are based
on clinical methods, therefore, they can be used in
synergy to achieve the same final goals: curing disease,
improving health and prevention.
TCM is not meant to antagonize
Western Medicine, much less pretend to be a substitute
to it.
